Mary Catherine is an E-RYT 200 and RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance. She discovered yoga after suffering a traumatic running injury in 2006, and from that moment on, the practice has completely transformed her life journey. After finding healing through a regular practice, Mary Catherine was determined to share this modality with others. She completed both her 200 and 500-hour trainings at Tranquil Space in Washington, DC, where she worked as a Studio Director and teacher for 3.5 years before moving to Cape Cod. Mary Catherine's teaching style has been described as sunny, encouraging, and inclusive. She invites her students to truly listen to their bodies while practicing, as she believes that the modern-day individual tends to ignore his or her body until it screams out for attention. When she is not teaching or practicing yoga, she can be found painting in her studio, writing, running her small consulting business, or blogging.
